Dinner at Nam Nam noodle Bar (Raffles city shopping centre)
With the regrets of not eating Pho when I was inVietnam last June, I decided to try out Nam Nam noodle bar which looks to serve authetic pho.
Nam Nam has attracted a large dinner crowd on Friday night, managed to get a seat after appox. 30 minutes of waiting. I must say that their service was good and their waiting time was reasonable too.
Now the food :
Starter : White cabbage, chicken salad, fresh herbs, roasted peanuts
(raw white cabbage served with chicken and herbs, light and refreshing taste)
Main course : Quang Style Egg Noodle
(dry mee pok with pork broth, nothing special but delicious)
Dessert: Chilled 3 colour dessert
(Vietnam style "chendol" , Lots of chewy goodness)
The restaurant do not accept reservation, if you don't mind waiting in line, this is a good place to enjoy pho (Vietnam style noodles). Yummy
PS : Can't wait to try out their Toasted baguettes.
